About the project Edit

This is a free and open group for all those interested in creating connections among West African NGOs/nonprofits and those interested in using technology to help support social and sustainable change in West Africa.

WiserWestAfrica is about using technology for social change in West Africa. We organise informal gatherings for change makers in West Africa.

Participants of WiserWestAfrica are using these face-to-face gatherings to:

- exchange and learn about best practices especially related to using technology for social change
- share what they are working on as well as their passions and ideas for changing the world
- build friendships and alliances with like-minded people and with others working on similar issues
- work on initiatives or projects together.
